Membership in COMCCE is distinct from certification, as it is valid for one year and does not involve the formal evaluation required to obtain or renew professional certification. Member physicians are not obligated to undergo the certification process; however, they are active members of the COMCCE community.

This membership allows them to integrate into an academic and professional environment focused on continuing education, medical updates, and the strengthening of best practices in cosmetic surgery. Furthermore, affiliated physicians have access to mentorship programs, opportunities to exchange experiences, and clinical and professional problem-solving, fostering growth, ethics, and continuous improvement within the profession.

In this way, COMCCE membership functions as a formative and collaborative link, promoting continuing education and professional support, without replacing or being equivalent to official certification.
