TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
PRESENT.-
Dr. Alma Evelia Torres Rodelo, in my capacity as President of the Mexican Council for the Certification of Aesthetic Surgery (COMCCE), hereby communicate the following:
I. Our social purpose as a Council pursues, among other aims, the health and lives of patients, as well as the best practices of our members. II. In this sense, respect for the right to life and health of our patients is our starting point when providing our services as healthcare professionals. III. We carefully monitor and urge our members to adhere to good surgical practices; we condemn at all times any surgical procedure performed outside of current health regulations, which is grounds for expulsion from our Council. IV. I clarify that our members are all physicians with various specialties, including a Master's degree in Cosmetic Surgery. V. Through this statement, we extend an invitation to the general public to inform us if any of our members offer or have performed any surgical procedure in an improper, clandestine, irregular, or otherwise unregulated facility.
